You'll have to "tweek" 'em just a touch as shown on the post. The bracket that's made on the line and secures the middle of the brake line at the upper control arm will need to be flipped over. And that's it...solves a lot of issues and makes for a lot safer braking. | | | Re: Another dropped spindle question | Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 91 Likes: 3 journeyman | journeyman Joined: Jan 2012 Posts: 91 Likes: 3 | Thanks CATFISH : But still looking for a 94 C3500 hose that matches you photos
Would this be the left one ? Looks kinda short.

There are two different types for the G3500/C3500. I'm not sure why some models had the shorter hoses. I think the HD3500's were a solid axle and maybe that's the difference.(?)

I think it was around 3". I'm now running Cragars that stick out a little further in the front and rub if I hit a good bump. So now I am looking for stiffer springs, wondering if I can just install G30 springs to lessen the flex of the front end. Any ideas? | | | Re: Another dropped spindle question | Joined: Apr 2014 Posts: 150 member | member Joined: Apr 2014 Posts: 150 | You could try some stiffer shocks first, I just put on some MonoMax from KYB, those things are beasts. | | | Re: Another dropped spindle question | Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 1,015 Likes: 19 old hand | old hand Joined: Sep 2013 Posts: 1,015 Likes: 19 | I found out that O'Reilly's has load adjusting shocks (the shocks with the spring on them for heavy loads) available for the front end of these vans. Might stiffen it up nicely.

Clearence cut the front outer bumper brackets, very slightly rolled the front inside fender lip, front end aligned perfect. Bent front OEM replacement brake lines, no issue there, 98 Suburban aftermarket rear sway bar fit like it was made for it, probably not so well on a non-lowered van. Overall, about 4" drop in front, 2.5" in rear, rides, handles, drives, better than ever.
