I did some donuts in the fields at the farm!
They slightly rub when I drive it through the ditch along the road with the wheels turned to the stops. They only hit the plastic flair thing at the rear of the fender. Looks like it'll be easy to modify for clearance.

Today I attempted to change the rear doors from my old van to the new one. After taking the bumpers off and heating up the hinges to drive the pins out, the doors won't fit. The doors are the same but the hinges were welded in different locations. The top hinges on the new one stick out farther than the old one and the spacing is different by 3/8".
If i take the bushings out, I can mount the doors, but the top of the door has a 3/4" gap and the body lines are too low.
So that was a waste of time.
I guess I'll knock the dents out and put in the pop outs from the other van.

Since the doors from the other van wouldn't work, I just put the pop-out windows in the slider and back doors.

Lookin good! Always dreamed of an Astro project. With so much of the mechanicals shared with other trucks the possibilities are many. Like a Cyclone/Typhoon drivetrain in one?

Just 2wd, I have studded snow tires on it now and it seems pretty good in the snow. The Astro is a bit smaller. Can't park them next to each other till I finish the brake conversion on the 69.
