 Wondering how many cuss words I am going to say on Saturday. #677104 December 18th 2014 11:35 pm | Joined: Oct 2014 Posts: 35 newbie | OP  newbie Joined: Oct 2014 Posts: 35 | Well Saturday I will be changing the starter out of the Green Machine because one it went out and two I broke a bolt off trying to remove it before. One has anyone had to remove a broken bolt from your bell housing because I don't think there is enough room for a drill and besides stainless steel bolts is there anything else I could do to make sure this doesn't happen again next time.

Stainless bolts cannot be hardened like steel and should only be used with stainless nuts or for light duty. A good grade 8 bolt and something like NeverSeize in the threads will work next time. I feel your pain as I've been there. Get ready to try every thing.
