I'll glad you got it resolved.

Good to know, thanks, makes me feel better.

I don't like any fans but the muscle car five blade viscous fan with clutch or damper. I run a stock radiator two core, with dual a/c and park go in and eat with the engine running to keep our dog cool and engine heat is not an issue. I put on a flex-a-lite fan when I first put the crate motor in and had all kinds of problems with it running warmer than it should. I also tried a wider blade flex fan and no difference... I also run a 160 degree thermostat. Heat is fine when it is cold and temps are great on a hundred degree day. Been using the same setup with all my Mopars since the mid seventies. Tried and true.

Cheers!

I get a little vibration around my core support too but I'm sure its from the fans being solid mounted to my frame by way of a metal shroud.

Finally got to drive the van today!
Fans work perfectly as soon as I got the connectors to seat properly. Not sure why but the gave me a lot of trouble. Some die electric grease got them to slid together wll enough now but still won't "lock" into place.
Biggest difference..It's quieter! Myuch quieter while driving.
What I thought was road and wind noise was largely the mechanical fan.

Yea that's nice isn't it? All you hear now is the cylinders popping out the tailpipes.

Looks great too!! your motor is very visible.

I have an electric fan plus my stock mechanical fan if I were to get a different mechanical fan, say one with more blades or something, do they make aftermarket fans that pull more air and bolt on to the stock unit? Well up in the mountains recently at 12,000 ft our van started getting hot, even with my extra electric fan. I know part of it had to do with the lack of oxygen in the air and we were only going about 30mph. So it probably wasnt blowing enough air either at that speed.

Just suggestions if anyone has any, thanks in advance.

Take Care,
Kevin

If you still have your mechanical fan where is your electric fan? In front of the radiator? I totally disagree with anything being in front of a radiator. I would pull it off if it is in front and see what happens.
