ok so most of you know i blew my engine on the way from keystone last year on my 94 Chevy G20, with a 4.3L Vortec. The new engine was put in and since it was winter, i parked it under the carport i built for it,starting it every couple of weeks n letting it run for a little while. But when it finally got nice out, i took her for a drive, she gets sluggish, transmission feels like it takes a bit longer to shift through the gears mostly last gear. most take offs feels like sluggish like she can stall, same when i gun it, had a trans expert check the trans and he said trans is fine problem is somewhere in engine, did a code reader and it gave code 32, EGR valve, old one was crappy, and not working right, so i replaced it today, took her for a ride but the symptoms are still there, anyone has any ideas before i decide to take her to the mechanics for PMS,Pre-Mechanical-Syndrome lol.

Oh yeah, engine is the same V-6 4.3L. Also forgot to mention, that it has a slight ticking to it, but so does my Blk van which has the same engine,

When I had my 318 rebuilt, the thing had no power.
Turns out the timing was set incorrectly, but the fools kept telling me it was the transmission, Which now has another 40K trouble free miles on it. Not sure if you can twist your distributor on a 94 4.3L chevy, but that's all it took on my '89 dodge.

yeah am going to have to look into that, but am going to put a new distributor cap, then take it to someone with a timing gun, but i like to make it to Docs this weekend first.
